Reset inverse (SGR 27)
SGR 27 resets the inverse video (SGR 7) attribute, restoring the original foreground/background color relationship. The sequence is
ESC [ 27 m.
Inverse video was one of the hardware-era highlight mechanisms, long before terminals had theme-aware selection colors. SGR 27 matters because status bars, menus, and cursor renderers often combine inverse video with explicit colors; using SGR 0 would clear every attribute, while SGR 27 restores only the foreground/background relationship.How this is testedautomated
