Reset underline (SGR 24)
SGR 24 resets all underline styles — single, double, curly, dotted, and dashed. The sequence is
ESC [ 24 m.
Targeted resets are important for nested styling: an application can clear an underline without also discarding color, bold, inverse video, or other active SGR attributes. Modern terminals map SGR 24 across both classic ECMA-48 underline and newer styled underline variants, so it is the safe cleanup sequence after curly, dotted, dashed, or colored underline output.How this is testedautomated
